Description

Nephrology Consultants, PA has several openings for a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to work in full-time or part-time positions in New Castle county in Delaware :

a). Nephrology Office

b). Local Hospitals

c). Dialysis clinic

Candidate can mix and match above positions to their preference.
The NP/PA provides patient care; conducts physical exams; completes health history summary; documents patients' progress and assists with patient care management under the direct supervision of the nephrologist.

Salary:

Pay: $100K-$120K (based on clinical experience - prefer Nephrology or Primary care)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform as needed rounds and assesses health status of assigned patients through complete physical examination and medical history.
  • Analyze patient data and formulate an individualize plan of care based on patient assessment and needs in collaboration with the physician, nursing, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of prescribed management plan.
  • Establish priorities based on patient needs and act on these accordingly.
  • Order, interpret, and/or perform necessary diagnostic testing or procedures within scope of practice and privileges.
  • Complete, appropriate, and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) for the encounter
  • Submit billing in a timely fashion according to policy.
  • Utilize teaching/learning to provide education and counseling to the patient and/or family including teach back.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist in efforts to improve patient satisfaction scores.
  • Strive for the highest quality in all aspects of work performance and assume responsibility for improving care/services including onboarding of new team members.
  • Maintains privileges, mandatory education, and regulatory requirements as needed for area of specialization.

  • Master's (Preferred)


Requirements

Requirements:


License or license eligible for NP or PA in the state of Delaware.

DEA (preferred); CAQH profile (Preferred).

The candidate must have or be eligible to obtain prescriptive authority.

Primary care or Nephrology Experience preferred.

Should qualify for malpractice insurance at regular rates.

Should be able to get credentials in facility that they desire to work at.
