Position Summary | Central Michigan University, University Health Services is seeking a highly qualified, board-certified physician in general internal or family medicine. The primary role will be within Student Health Services. This clinic provides treatment to Central Michigan University students while attending college in coordination with their primary physician or specialist. The scope of practice includes acute visits, well visits, injections, IUD management, allergy management, gynecological exams, basic cardiac screenings, travel health services, and management of sexually transmitted infections. This position may also provide coverage and see patients in our Primary and Specialty Clinic. The Primary and Specialty Clinic provides chronic outpatient care, servicing faculty, staff, and community members. Successful candidate will be team oriented and participate in all areas related to diversity of medical care. Ideal candidate will also participate in cost management utilization review, quality assurance and medical policy/protocol development, participate in recruiting and staff development, and provide mid-level providers supervision. Clinics are open 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. Flexible scheduling will be available when the students are not in session. |
